"All against Boettcher" Part 5, it was called on Thursday afternoon at Radio R. SA Boettcher & Fischer. It was the cooper and the steep wall of Meerane with the bike to conquer. Since were already memories of the 50s - 80s awake, in which the Peace Race was a cult. The whole week had been running daily on Radio R. SA, the well-known peace trip-Fanfare, known from childhood. They awakened memories of glory days of the East German cycling and did so want more women ... Blechi-validated on Wednesday a declaration and so was one of 40 Blechi starters who were in on the fun Meerane action by Radio R. SA with the party. The winner will also have the top prize an e-bike with a value of 2600 €, sponsored by Little John Bikes .

At the start, then age-specific installation, old front and rear young. I was due to my "young" age only in the third row, but to me a hole and before the "Titan of chub-Ost" in the yellow jersey. What should show up later, I was just this yellow evil doom.

Peter Daghörer, previously organized the Peace Race in Meerane gave the go-ahead and 40 road bike - and mountain bikers of the nearly 250 m long steep wall decreased with the pedals. Unfortunately I had to because of my starting position first cooper and the only woman in the field that started with him gone. Involuntarily

After I passed the two, I was in the next bunch of riders. So I lost the first part of key meters. When I was able to ride free at last, I got a driver for driver and ended up as 5th across the finish line. In choosing the other side of the road at the start of the race would have been possible a place on the podium, but hindsight is just been smarter.
Cooper was pushed out Kraftermangelerscheinungen half way and was still totally ready to finish. Otherwise it was a different type of afternoon that was pretty amusing and was laughing at the lot.
